Random Vibration
Random vibration is one of the most common dynamic environments encountered during launch. It is used to represent a statistically distributed vibration environment often applied as a Power Spectral Density (PSD) in all three axes.
What This Section Will Cover:
- Understanding PSD and GRMS
- Converting acceleration levels to shock response spectra
- Applying random loads in FEM
- Common test specs (NASA, SpaceX, AIAA)
More to come with Python scripts, Nastran examples, and test correlation techniques.
